A solid foundation in work methodology and terminology gives first-year Bachelor of Science students the knowledge and skills to explore key aspects of scientific research, paving the way for a thriving career in biology.
This module provides a comprehensive set of tools to help students deepen the essential knowledge that will prepare them to excel in the field of scientific research. Students will begin to understand the language of science through terminology.
They will then learn how writing a scientific report is also the most common scientific communication. Mastering this essential skill leads to better collaboration and easier access to interdisciplinary knowledge. Although a scientific report provides a formal version of the results of a scientific experiment or project. It is basically a method to communicate and transfer knowledge with other people in the same field.
Subsequently, students will learn to analyse and understand scientific articles in a critical manner. You will be ready to actively participate in scientific discussions and effectively communicate your research results to the scientific community.Learning objectives
